RWT GRANT WRITING TEAM
Support for the operation and programs of Riverwalk Theatre comes from memberships, donations, ticket sales, underwriting sponsorships and grants. Each of these sources of revenue is important to maintaining our program of theatrical productions, our paid staff at RWT, The Costume Shop and our facility. We are currently adding to our Grant Writing Team.
Working with Hope Rollins and Tom Ferris on a current application, volunteers will learn how to gather information, compile information and complete portions of the various applications from grant sources. If you are interested and available to join the team, please contact Adriana Flores ([email protected]) by April 7 and we will arrange for your initial training which will occur at 7pm on Tuesday, April 13. In your email, please let Adriana know which of the following fit your skills and interests: (List all that interest you.)
1. Researching grant sources;
2. Compiling information about RWT (i.e. show attendance, number of volunteers involved);
3. Using the budget and audit to answer grant application questions about RWT financials;
4. Writing descriptions of projects or other needs to be funded (Grant Narratives);
5. Learning about grant writing, and helping where needed.
