Featured Lobby Artist: Linda MooreThe featured artist for Jan 31-April 3, 2012 at Riverwalk Theatre is Linda Moore of Lansing. Linda has lived her entire life in the Lansing area where she currently resides with her husband. She has been a Barber for the past 34 years and owns and operates Modern Barbers, LLC. She has been photographing birds sincd 2006, when shoulder surgery had her off work for 3 months. What came as the biggest surprise was how truly remarkable these little gifts from God were. Art has always been an important part of her life, and pastime. She has enjoyed macrame, weaving, painting, rug making, stained glass, jewery making, and now photography of birds. She feels that a picture captures a once in a lifetime moment and that this is what sets her photos apart from others. Her photos capture the bird, the heartbeat, that exact expression... it is what she finds most exciting and amazing. See this special show in Riverwalk Theatre's lobby art gallery, Jan 31 through April 3. Tuesdays thru Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and during shows on the weekends. Call Riverwalk Theatre office with questions, at 482-5700. |
